Strategic question

An APAC focused insurer wanted to analyse other insurers in the region, in order to identify their competitors key areas of focus, and determine a ‘follow’ or differentiation strategy

Outcomes

Galen Growth then looked at the top competing insurers (measured by number of partnerships) at an aggregate APAC level. We categorised their Digital Health strategic impact, classifying each competitor into “Optimal”, “Misaligned”, “Risky” or “Re-think” based on the maturity of the HealthTech ventures and the fit to the Insurer’s strategic aims.
