Shortlisting ventures for cardio remote monitoring

Client context: Shortlisting ventures for cardio remote monitoring

Strategic question

A global pharmaceutical wanted to shortlist and prioritise ventures which provided a solution with telemonitoring capabilities, that connects patients suffering from heart failure and physicians (cardiologists). Ventures of interest needed to meet 8 criteria, including having a proven solution in market, be relatively mature (Series A or higher) and be GDPR compliant

Outcomes

Galen Growth delivered a Scouting approach, involving two choreographed sprints – Scan and Profile. Using a Venture Fit scoring matrix, combined with HealthTech Alpha’s proprietary Alpha score, 10 ventures were shortlisted and profiled. The shortlist was then presented to the client for further consultation and refinement. Finally, in-depth profiles of the top 3-5 qualifying ventures were produced for final client selection
